Convertible Top Warranty

E-Z ON Auto Tops, LLC® Warranty

Effective April 1, 2020

All EZON convertible Tops, Glass and *Plastic Windows, Tonneau Covers, Headliners, Top Boots and related products are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship at the time of shipment from our plant. We offer limited warranties for our products of up to 3 years for Tops and Glass Windows and 1-year for Tonneau Covers, Top Boots and Headliners. Warranty periods are based on the type of topping in which our product is made, and the length of time our product has been professionally installed. We guarantee our workmanship and offer protection against failure in toppings such as cracking, delamination, severe discoloration (except where noted for specific toppings) during the limited warranty period. All warranty consideration is based on the date of original purchase and/or installation, except where otherwise specified. The warranty period does not extend upon installation of warranty replacement products. See “Labor Credit“ segment below for information regarding warranty replacement labor credit.

Our Warranty does not cover damage caused by failure to properly operate a convertible top or product by not following the procedures outlined in your owner’s manual. Our warranty furthermore does not cover any damage caused by abuse whether accidental or intentional, damage caused during installation of our product, damage resulting from failure to replace pads, side cables, rain rails or other necessary components, or by use of improper cleaning techniques and/or products. Warranty is void if sewn in tag with Serial Number is removed from the product.

Robbins Auto Tops, LLC® Warranty

Need to File A Claim?

What You Will Need

  • DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE ORIGINAL/DEFECTIVE TOP AFTER INSTALLING THE REPLACEMENT 
  • Take clear pictures of the issue. You may be asked to provide additional pictures.
  • Take a picture or scan of the install receipt/invoice.
  • If you are dealing with a window bond failure, please take a picture of the window stamp in the bottom corner of the window.
  • Have the manufacturer's serial number of the item that you are filing a claim for.  The serial number can be found on the warranty tag of the top or window (usually above the driver's side door on tops).  
  • Take a picture of the tag.

How to Ensure that You Receive Full Credit

  • DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE ORIGINAL/DEFECTIVE TOP AFTER INSTALLING THE REPLACEMENT 
  • Send the warranty item back to the manufacturer (Miami Corp. will send you a return label via email or mail).
  • Provide field destroy pictures. The pictures need to look exactly like what is pictured below:
